this rings so true.

Back in the day, before marriage, before diabetes, before babies, when I was sleeping a full 8 hours, I could code some nice stuff. Now it’s just a miracle it compiles. When it does.

I also tend to, um, not think. At all.

The Supreme Court has now said that local governments can use the power of eminent domain to seize property and hand it over to private properties.

Don’t want to sell the farm to the developer who wants to make it into a subdivision? Too bad! All they need to do is bribe enough local officials, and voila! It’s theirs!

Oh, of course they’ll pay you for it. You can probably be sure that, since you’re being forced to sell it, they’ll take care to make sure you get fair market value, right? Right?
